Plumbing Solutions Without Commitment Stress

image showing plumber working on fixture for plumbing solutions

To my dear plumbing contractor:

Yes, I care about you. You’ve helped me out through some stressful, difficult situations. Yes, you were there for me when I needed you in the middle of the night because my roommate dropped his iPhone down the toilet.

Yes, you were there for me when I tried to put a pineapple down the garbage disposal. And yes, you were there for me when I accidentally left the bathroom sink running all night long because I fell asleep after a night of…studying.

But, the thing is, as difficult as this is to say…my lease for this apartment is up in four months and I just can’t be locked into a contract right now.

I told you that this apartment was not a permanent residence and at some point, I would need to move on and see other contractors. Well, as difficult as this is, that time has come. I just can’t commit right now. I wish you the best.

Sincerely,

James, Apartment 3A

Can you relate to James? Are you just not ready to be locked into a long-term plumbing membership plan with a plumbing contractor? That’s a big commitment, and for someone who’s on a short-term lease and is renting and now owning, it simply doesn’t make sense to get locked into a contractual obligation.

Like James, it’s time for you to be free and explore other options. Fortunately, the folks at Mercy Plumbing can help you out if you find yourself in a plumbing bind without forcing you to sign a long-term agreement, and we even have a helpful, informative blog to help you with DIY maintenance and other useful tips and tricks.

Annual Drain Cleaning Just Isn’t Optional

Sure, it may seem like a pain and an unnecessary expense to have your drain cleaned out by a professional. Can’t you just get in there with a power washer and take care of it yourself? The answer is no, absolutely not.

Whatever you do, do not attempt to clean out your own drain. It’s a serious job that calls for a trained, experienced professional with the requisite knowledge, tools, and experience to do the job right. Yes, it’s a yearly expense, and yes, that money could go to pizza and beer.

However, think of what could happen if you choose not to get your drain professionally cleaned and it clogs. What happens next?

Without getting graphic, it’s incredibly disgusting, very expensive to mitigate, and you will have one unhappy landlord. Not to mention the fact that anything you keep stored in the basement is most likely going to be completely ruined.

Hydrojetting Offers Long-Lasting Solutions

When those clogs just won’t go away with easy solutions, it may be time for some heavy-duty work. A hydro-jetting machine is the ultimate in drain cleaning.

Using highly pressurized water, it blasts away at those nagging clogs, leaving with free-flowing drains and no damage to your plumbing system. Imagine dealing with the biggest problems like invasive roots and scale, all with the peace of mind that it’s getting done by a pro!

More Reasonable DIY Fixes

No matter how careful you are, at some point, you will have to face a clogged toilet. If you have delicate plumbing, a septic system or old pipes, your plumbing may be particularly delicate.

Remember, Drano and Liquid Plumr are tempting solutions to destroying blockages, but they are harmful, caustic substances that can do a lot of damage to your pipes.

Look, you’re a nice person, but you have to be careful not to let people, including contractors, take advantage of your good nature. Let’s face it; long-term membership plans aren’t for everyone, no matter how nice the contractor is. Yes, you understand that you might save money if you sign up for a year-long plan, but the fact of the matter is you’re moving to a new place in a couple of months.

You would be better off with a flexible contractor who works with your limited schedule and the occasional need for plumbing help, like the folks at Mercy Plumbing, who understand what it means to rent a property and not own and only require a plumber’s help on an as-needed basis.

Call our team at (832) 734-9731 for immediate help, and remember, we’re not looking for a commitment - we’re simply looking to provide you with excellent customer service and superb plumbing work.
